Ending Support for Outdated Windows and macOS Versions in 6 Months

At Level, our mission has always been to deliver the fastest, most reliable, and most secure RMM platform for IT teams everywhere. To keep pushing forward, we occasionally have to leave older systems behind.

Six months from today, starting May 4th 2026, Level will no longer function on these OS versions.

Affected Windows Versions:

  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2012

Affected macOS Versions:

  • macOS High Sierra (10.13)
  • macOS Mojave (10.14)
  • macOS Catalina (10.15)

After May 4, 2026, agents running on these operating systems may stop reporting, stop executing tasks, or fail to connect entirely. New installations on these platforms will also be blocked.

Why this change?

These operating systems no longer receive security or performance updates from Microsoft or Apple. Continuing to support them prevents us from taking advantage of modern frameworks and security improvements.

We strongly recommend upgrading these systems to supported versions of Windows or macOS as soon as possible to maintain full functionality.

For a full list of currently supported operating systems, see our Supported Platforms guide.
