Why doesn’t Level include ticketing or a PSA?

We’re building an RMM, not an everything platform.

Ticketing, billing, contracts, CRM, quoting, time tracking, and project management are products of their own. Level stays focused on endpoint management.

Use the best tools for each job.

Connect them together.

  1. 01Stack freedom

Change your RMM without rebuilding the rest of your business.

A new RMM should not trigger a second migration. Keep the PSA, help desk, documentation, billing, and workflows your team already trusts.

That freedom should last. If one tool stops working for you, replace it without untangling your entire stack.

  2. 02Different jobs

Your business tools should fit the way your team works.

MSPs may need contracts, billing, time tracking, ticket queues, SLAs, and quoting. Internal IT may already run support through Jira or ServiceNow.

There is no single built-in PSA that fits every team. Choose systems that match your work instead of adapting your work to a bundle.

Focus is a product decision.

Every roadmap choice decides what gets better next.

  1. 03Engineering focus

We spend our engineering time on the RMM.

Ticketing, billing, CRM, contracts, quoting, and project management are products of their own. Building them would pull attention from the endpoint work you rely on Level to do.

We stay focused on monitoring, automation, patching, remote access, endpoint management, and reliability—and keep making them better.

Questions about Level’s focus.

How the RMM fits beside ticketing, PSA, and business tools.

Does Level include ticketing or a PSA?

No. Level is the RMM for monitoring, automation, patching, remote access, and endpoint management. Keep the PSA, help desk, documentation, and billing systems you already use.

Do I need a PSA to use Level?

No. Use Level with a PSA, with a help desk such as Jira or ServiceNow, or without either. Level manages the endpoints; your team chooses how to handle requests and business workflows.

Can Level turn alerts into tickets or incidents?

Yes, when the connected integration supports it. Supported PSA and incident-response integrations can create tickets or incidents from selected Level monitor alerts.

Which business tools does Level connect to?

The published directory includes PSA, ticketing, documentation, and incident-response tools, plus the Level Public API. Check the directory for the current list and supported workflows.

What if my tool isn’t supported?

Use webhooks or the Level Public API to build a custom workflow when your tool supports it. Push events out of Level, or pull device and alert data into the systems you already run.

Let Level handle the endpoints.

Keep the tools that run the rest of your business. Your first 10 devices are free forever.
