Why Level prices per device

Our pricing follows our costs. Not your headcount.

Adding a technician does not meaningfully increase what it costs Level to provide the service. Adding a managed device does.

The cost center is the endpoint.

That is what Level charges for.

  • Technicians are not the workload.

Adding another user creates some overhead, but it does not meaningfully change the cost of operating Level.

  • Devices create ongoing cost.

Every endpoint checks in, sends metrics, runs monitors and automations, installs patches, stores history, and supports remote sessions.

  • The model aligns for MSPs too.

If you charge clients per device, Level's RMM cost maps directly to the same unit you invoice. No seat cost needs to be spread across clients or endpoints.

Per-device pricing follows product consumption.

Per-technician pricing follows technician seats.

Add people without adding license cost.

Security and collaboration get easier.

  • Individual accounts

Give every technician, manager, and appropriate team member a login.

  • MFA for every user

Protect each identity without weighing the cost of another seat.

  • Role-based permissions

Grant the access the work requires, including limited access.

  • Complete audit history

Tie each action to the person who performed it.

  • No seat management

Stop buying, assigning, reclaiming, and shuffling licenses.

  • Predictable hiring

Add a technician without changing the RMM bill.

Per-technician pricing can still be cheaper.

That does not make it better aligned.

Per-device pricing fits if

  • You want pricing that follows managed-device workload.
  • You want every appropriate teammate to have an individual account.
  • You do not want hiring to increase the RMM bill.

Per-technician pricing may fit if

  • A very small licensed team manages a very large device fleet.
  • The total stays lower after buying a seat for every person who needs access.
  • You are comfortable tying access cost to headcount.

Pay for the fleet. Add the whole team.

First 10 devices free. Add technicians at no additional charge.
